MGIJとはMuslims Graveyard Ibaraki-ken, Japanの頭文字を取ったものです。
皆様もご存じの通り、現在日本ではムスリム兄弟姉妹を埋葬するための墓地が少なく、切実な問題となっております。アルハムドリッラーMGIJの会では、茨城県内に100～150体の土葬可能な墓地を確保することができました。
MGIJムスリム墓地は国道６号線及び高速インター出口から車で５分、茨城空港・常磐線JR石岡、JR水戸駅からも車で２０分ほどの好立地にあります。
なお、現在墓地の仕切り壁と基礎工事を行っておりますが、工事費用が不足しております。引き続き皆様からのご協力を賜りたくよろしくお願い致します。

Dear Brothers & Sisters A.o.Alaikum
Muslim Graveyard Ibaraki, Japan committee (MGIJの会) was formed as a non-profit organization, with well-educated religious
and active members of Ehle-Sunnah Wal-jamat including its promoter and chairman (Syed Jawed Ali ) to manage and serve
the Muslim community by establishing a graveyard for Muslims in Japan by
following the rules of Islamic Shariah.
The MGIJ Committee floated a project in February 2010. The graveyard will accommodate
about 100~150 graves. The site has the permission for burial of dead human
bodies.
After 25% payment of land we made an agreement with the graveyard authorities in
the name of MGIJ の会 (Committee). Thereafter, the project was announced on 7th of March 2010,
to the Muslims in Japan at Madina Mosque, Omitama-City, Ibaraki-ken, Japan.
The members of the MGIJ Committee under the guidance of their chairman, Syed Jawed Ali , put all of their best efforts and hard work to collect the donations and
Qarz-e-Hasna from donors/friends living all over Japan, and by doing so we paid the
75% of the cost of land’ to the graveyard authorities during September,
2010, and then Alhamdulillah we got the possession of the site of MGIJ Project.
Although the possession had been taken, but Burial/Tadfeen was not possible
unless and until we build the boundary walls and empty Graves with facilities
(light, water, site-office, bench, etc) (As mentioned in the agreement with Graveyard authorities).
Recently MGIJ Committee obtained some donation from The Embassy of the
Royal kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tokyo, and started building the requisite
boundary walls and some empty graves at MGIJ site. After the completion
of the boundary wall, we still have to initiate the following tasks.
1. Construction of empty Graves.
2. Construction of electric light pools.
3. Construction of water facility and wadou place.
4. Construction of a small office/store.
5. Placement of benches, etc.
This is kindly requested to all Muslim Brother & Sisters that please inform/persuade your friends,
businessmen, country-fellow, and other Muslim community members to please
come forward and donate money to make this project successful. Any kind of financial assistance will be most welcomed.
